10th February
3 days Full Board Line Dance Weekend £135 |
| Cumbria - The eastern part of the county is moorland and with some
great walks, and is close to the border with Northumbria. To the
north of both counties is Hadrian's Wall built by The Roman Emperor
Hadrian. The whole area is very scenic and a pleasure to drive
through. |
Day 1
We journey to Penrith for a break
then on to the hotel to settle in,
before the dancing starts at 5pm.
After a break for dinner it starts
again with lots of instruction
to learn all the latest dances. At
11pm it's goodnight.
Day 2
A hearty Cumbrian breakfast then back to the dance fl oor before breaking for lunch. This afternoon we have a short excursion to Hexham returning alongside Hadrians Wall. After dinner it's Cabaret Time with great music and dancing till late.

Day 3
Another hearty breakfast then back to the dance fl oor until lunch time with a traditional lunch before we depart for home. |

Day 1
We head north with a stop at
Penrith then via the fells to
Gilsland.
Day 2
Today we visit Hexham where the weekly market will be open.
Day 3
Today we visit the Red sandstone city of Carlisle, many interesting buildings to admire, and return via Brampton and Lanercost.

Day 4
Full day over the border to Dumfries, where Rabbie Burns spent much of his short life, with an interesting stop along the way.
Day 5
Sadly it's time for home, but to help, we call at Kendal on the journey south.

The hotel has a lift, all rooms are en suite with colour TV, telephone, and tea making facilities.
10th February Price Includes: 3 days / 2 nights Full Board. Door to door pick ups, luxury coach travel, services of our experienced tour driver, all instruction and dancing, visit to Hexham.

Extras: Single room supplement – £10
13th February Price Includes: 5 days /4 nights Dinner, Bed & Breakfast. Daily morning paper and a drinks promotion each night, are the hotel's choice. Also every afternoon between 2pm and 4pm there is tea and biscuits are served in the conservatory. Deposit Required: £40 per person
