Entertainment on three nights during your stay |
| Torquay is the stylish resort at the heart of the English Riviera with a real
continental atmosphere. The harbour town is the birthplace of Dame
Agatha Christie and the beauty of the area is captured in many of her
famous novels. In keeping with its name, the English Riviera enjoys a
mild climate with sandy beaches and coves around every corner. |
Day 1
We travel south via the
motorway network making
suitable stops along the way.
For lunch we normally leave
the motorway to use a friendly
garden centre, arriving at the
Kistor around 3.45pm.
Day 2
Our day out takes us fi rst to
Dawlish then on the historic port
of Teignmouth with its Canadian
connections. Afterwards we
follow the winding coast road to
Babbacombe for our fi nal stop
before returning to the coast
road for the last part of the day.
|
Day 3
We drive through Paignton to
Totnes then following the route
of the River Dart to Dartmouth. A
pretty town. full of naval history,
and where part of The Onedin Line
was fi lmed in the cobbled streets
of Bayards Cove. You also have
time for a sail on the River Dart
before we cross the river for our
journey back to the Kistor.
Day 4
A day at leisure in Torquay.
Day 5
We depart the hotel after
breakfast for the journey back
to The North West arriving late
afternoon. |

YOUR HOTEL ** Kistor Hotel/Inglewood Hotel
The Kistor Hotel is one of three hotels owned and run by a local
family. It has been our top selling tour for early bargain breaks, and
is located just about 100 yards from the sea front and Torre Abbey
Sands. Its location is great for those who like to stroll out after dinner.
There is a nightly entertainment package to suit all tastes and a small
indoor pool. The lift serves all fl oors but due to the nature of the
building there are odd steps to some rooms. All rooms en-suite with
colour TV, telephone and tea making facilities. The Inglewood Hotel
is the sister hotel to the Kistor and has the same facilities except
the indoor poor but this can be used at the Kistor or Grosevenor.
Price Includes: 4 nights Dinner, Bed and Breakfast, luxury coach travel,
services of our experienced tour driver. Two day excursions.
Deposit Required: £40 per person
Extras: No single supplement on our allocation.
Door to door pick-ups are available at a small charge. |
