Day Excursions
All excursions are pick up & set down on main roads close to your home within our normal area. All pick ups/drop off are normally completed within 1 hour subject to traffic conditions. Some pick ups are by a feeder vehicle, and where the route allows passengers will be first on first off basis. The base time is at Golborne, so some times will be before this time and some will be after depending on the destination.We always advise pick up time times by phone the day before the excursion.

Today Haworth will turn the clock back to the 1940's which sees the main street take a 70 year step back in time to the era of Air-Raids, Ration Books and Utility Suits. with people wearing period dress the Home Guard is put on standby and out come the sand bags, 40's Vehicles are dotted up and down the street, troops carrying their kit can be seen striding out up the cobbled streets, with 1940's Newspapers,Programmes of events on sale bringing the latest news from the front line, with pipebands

This ever popular Lancashire town standing on the old Roman Road, also boast Viking connections, this
Market dates back to 1286 when the monks at nearby Burscough Priory were granted a Royal Charter by Edward 1 to hold a weekly outdoor market, we stay here till 1230 then move on to Southport with its famous Lord St shops, the pier with its railway crossing the attractive marine lake.

to the attractive southern pier at Lakeside, here we rejoin the coach and travel to Grange over Sands
where we spend the rest of the afternoon, before journeying home along the old road to Preston
