| Situated on a level position, directly opposite Paignton Seafront and
a short walk to the town centre, you couldn't ask for a better located
hotel in Paignton. One of the most popular resorts on the English Riviera,
almost every where around the town centre is a level walk, a great
selection of shops and a pretty harbour with thatched cottages. |
Day 1
We travel south via the
motorway network making
suitable stops along the way.
For lunch we normally leave the
motorway and use a friendly
garden centre, arriving at The
Marine around 3.45pm.
Day 2
Our day out takes us fi rst to
Exeter then Dawlish and then on
the historic port of Teignmouth
with its Canadian connections.
Afterwards we follow the
winding coast road back to
Paignton.
Day 3
We drive through Paignton to
Totnes then follow the route of
the River Dart to Dartmouth. A
pretty town full of naval history,
and where part of The Onedin
Line was fi lmed in the cobbled
streets of Bayards Cove. You also have time for a sail on the
River Dart before we cross the
river for our journey back to the
Marine.

Day 4
We head to Newton Abbott for
our fi rst stop today. It's market
day so the town is busy, then
after lunch we travel on to
Dartmoor and visit Widecombe
in the Moor with its lovely
church, always been known as
the cathedral in Moor.
Day 5
Full day to Plymouth including a
short drive around the Plymouth
Hoe.
Day 6-7
At leisure in Paignton.
Day 8
We depart the hotel after
breakfast for the journey back
to The North West arriving late
afternoon.

YOUR HOTEL - Marine Hotel
The Marine hotel is airy, modern and light yet highly comfortable.
After just one visit, you'll want to adopt the hotel as your second
home by the sea. It offers nightly entertainment and service
second to none, all rooms are en suite with colour TV, tea making
facilities etc, and the lift serves all fl oors this our second year here
at the Marine.
Price Includes: 7 nights Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. Door to door
