| Blairgowrie |
 |
 |
9th April 5 days Half Board £279
1st Oct 5 days Half Board £279 |
| Follow the River Tay's tributary, the River Etricht, and you will fi nd
Blairgowrie and its sister community, Rattray, nestling below the
Sidlaw Hills. That's just what the salmon do, by the way, and they are
no doubt grateful for the salmon ladder which they encounter here.
Be that as it may, the fishing is generally considered outstanding.
Walk along the river, enjoying the fabulous scenery, pause to visit
the old corn mill, now a visitor centre, antiques warehouse, gallery
and bistro. As you explore this picturesque country town, you might
like to visit the genealogy centre if there are any ancestors you'd
like to trace. Whatever you do there, you'll love this gateway to the
glens. |
Day 1
After our door to door pick ups
we head north and cross the
border to our stop for lunch at
