| This superb event takes place in Scotland's capital each August.
Held on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle it includes the world
famous massed pipes and drums displays, and becoming so popular
that cruise ships are now calling at Leith so their passengers can visit
the event. |
Day 1
We travel north and stop at
Moffat for lunch, then via the
Devils Beef Tub and the Glens
to enter the city by the south
eastern route. We hope to arrive
mid afternoon to allow you time
to take a stroll to the beach or
maybe take a swim in the hotel's
attractive leisure area before our
dinner. The evening is at leisure.
Day 2
After a hearty breakfast we leave
the hotel about 10.45 and head
into the city where we give you
a short guided tour of Scotland's
capital. During the afternoon
we give you free time to explore
as you wish before returning to the hotel about 5pm for dinner.
We depart again around 7.45pm
for the evening performance of
the world famous Tattoo. After
the show we return to the Kings
Manor.

Day 3
A lazy start today (normally
about 11am because of drivers
hours) after another hearty
breakfast. We depart to Leith
for shopping or an optional visit
to the former Royal Yacht. We
depart around 2.30 pm and head
for home, arriving early evening. |

Kings Manor Hotel
Long favoured by our customers for its high standards of
accommodation the hotel recently added some new rooms. It's about
a 15 minute walk from the beach at Joppa. It boasts a superb leisure
centre and pool. All special breaks, but not the tattoo weekends, have
an entertainment package.
Price Includes: 3 days at Best Western Kings Manor Hotel with full
leisure facilities and lift, all en-suite rooms with tea makers and TV,
admission to the Tattoo on Saturday's second performance and city
tour. Luxury coach travel & services of experienced tour driver. Door
to door pick ups
