Somerset
1st October 5 days Half Board £395
A splendid 18th century Grade II house designed by the great Sir John Sloane, this is one of the most seductive manor houses in the country. Doubtless this helps explain why "To the Manor Born" was fi lmed here. The setting's equally splendid: the scenic and tranquil Somerset countryside, magnifi cent views of which can be seen from the house, unfolds before your eyes. In the grounds there's a wildlife park which is home to some rare species. Hotel guests can enjoy the wildlife park at reduced rates.
