This fine hotel standing High on the Cumbrian Fells close to the Northuberland border, is our Home from Home during this Christmas period. There are pleasant walks out from the hotel around the River Irthing. Our package includes nightly entertainment starting with a tea dance before dinner, then the main evening. Entertainment starts about 8.30, this caters for all tastes, there is a large dance floor for those wishing to dance, and the public bar if you want a quieter moment.
Lunch stop in Penrith before we head for The Spa. We hope to have you all checked in for 3pm. The day has little moments to relax, chat to friends old and new, and then its lunchtime. After dinner the Queens Speech on the TV, a little snooze maybe before the evening starts about 5.30pm. Boxing Day breakfast time to relax a little before lunch, subject to numbers we will have a country drive returning in time to get ready for the evening package of entertainment and food. On the return journey we load the luggage and set off down the old Road to Kendal, where we will have time for a little shopping around the town.
