Join us on a day trip to the Yorkshire Dales and the lovely Wharfedale village of Kettlewell. The Scarecrow Festival has been held here every year since 1994 and is a fabulous fundraising event for the local primary school, village hall and local church which serve the whole surrounding community. Originally the scarecrows depicted villagers professions and hundreds of displays can now be spotted in every corner of the village in gardens, doorways, peeping over walls and even climbing drainpipes. There are plenty of refreshments available with three pubs and two cafes as well as places to picnic by the river.
